There are places we’ll
remember all our life, though some have changed. Some forever, not for better, have gone, and some remain.
George
Young graduated from North Carolina A & T University with a degree in Business Administration.
He went to work with Sears as a Sale Manager
for many years. Although
in the back of his mind he always wanted to be an entrepreneur.
George started Young and Co. in the 80’s. All of his work had to be manual due to lack of computers.
After working this
company approximately 12 years, a misfortune with the illness of his mother he had to
close the company.
He
later went to work for AT&T for several years. Upon his retirement in 2005, the vision of his
company resurfaces.
His wife, Jenise the co-owner is very excited about the new venture. She will bring
over 20 years of Accounting
and Taxation experience to the company. She holds a BS degree in Accounting
and Marketing from West
Georgia University. With the combined skills and education will undoubtedly prove to be important to the success and
growth of Young & Co.
Among their leisure time, they spend quality moments with their 5
children and 6 grand kids
